The Brief:
Our client was renovating a property and the house had a pair of poorly manufactured and badly fitting front doors. The doors were very unsightly and were not in keeping with the contemporary look that our client was trying to achieve. The doors also provided very poor security and this was something our client was really concerned about.
The Solution:
After working very closely with our client and having exchanged several designs via email we finally arrived at a design that he was happy with. At this point the client also told us that he wanted a steel plate fitted into the centre on the door. This was another little challenge that we able to overcome.
The Result:
An oak door and frame with side lights.
The glass is extra thick and laminated. The door is manufactured with a steel plate at its core.
There is a multi-point locking system and anti-tamper hinges fitted.
